Sydney Eisler- 14-1 Assistant CoachBiography I started playing volleyball at the age of 9 but didn’t start playing club until I was 13. I played for Spark the first two years it became a club, with Juan and Jasmine as my coaches. I played with Delta Valley my senior year of high school and went on to play a year of NCAA Division 3 college volleyball for Gordon College, right outside of Boston. I also was an assistant coach for a 14’s club team that year during my off season. Unfortunately things didn’t work out, so I moved to San Diego, in which I played beach volleyball for a year at Palomar College. I moved home, soon after that, and began helping where I was needed with Spark, in which this is my second season. As an assistant coach, my primary goal is to not only push the athletes to become good team players, but to be great people. Volleyball isn’t who you are, it’s apart of what you do. Character and personality mean a lot more to me than simply just being a great athlete. |
